A flat iron clamps your hair between two plates and presses it. The Nouraé Glide Straightening Comb heats the teeth instead, so you brush the frizz out and the hair keeps its own body. It is far more forgiving than an iron, which matters if you are doing your own hair at the back of your head in a mirror.

Why a comb instead of an iron

How to use
- Start with completely dry, brushed hair. Never use it on wet or damp hair.
- Switch it on and let it come up to temperature before the first pass.
- Work in sections. Comb slowly from the root down to the ends in one steady movement.
- Two or three passes per section is plenty. Let each section cool before you brush it again.
- Switch off, unplug and let it cool completely on a heat-safe surface before storing.
Use a heat protectant spray first. Keep it away from the scalp, and do not leave it plugged in unattended.
